James Kreger Fund For New Music

Under the direction of James Kreger, TCS has been committed to supporting and presenting new music, especially from living composers.  In addition to featuring the work of American and other composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, we are also committed to supporting a thriving choral repertoire by helping to create new works.

In recognition of his 33 years of artistic leadership, the Thomas Circle Singers Board of Directors is pleased to announce the James Kreger Fund for New Music.  This new fund was created to ensure that we can continue to commission new works for years to come.

Our goal for the first year of the fund is to raise $10,000*, and we are planning to perform the first piece commissioned in our 2022-2023 season.

*Donations to the Kreger Fund in excess of $10,000 in a fiscal year may be redirected to the general fund at the discretion of the TCS Board of Directors. Donations to the general fund may be directed to the Kreger Fund at the discretion of the TCS Board of Directors.
