OPPORTUNITIES:

Concert Manager/Intern
The Thomas Circle Singers seeks an intern for the Spring 2006 Concert Season.  The primary responsibility of this internship is to act as Concert Manager for TCS's two spring concerts (March and May).  Duties will include, but are not limited to, communicate with the concert venue/contact person prior to the dress rehearsal week, coordinate the logistics and set up of the dress rehearsals at each venue,  coordinate the front of house procedures and volunteers for each concert.  Hours will be very flexible and vary according to the proximity of the concert. A $100 honorarium will be given for each concert.

In addition to the Concert Manager responsibilities, the internship may also include research into new funding sources for TCS, specifically corporate and foundation sources.  This will involve working closely with the TCS Board of Director's Fundraising chair, as well as the Board as a whole.  There will be the opportunity to attend the monthly Board of Directors meetings as well as other activities and functions of TCS.

TCS is a unique choral ensemble in Washington, DC with a mission of supporting other local non-profit organizations by donating 100% of all ticket revenue from each concert to a different non-profit.  This year's focus is on low-income housing in DC.  To learn more about TCS, please visit the website www.thomascirclesingers.org
